This totally rad 1985 old-school Valterra Back To The Future skateboard with, you guessed it, generic trucks, generic wheels and generic bearings. The deck measures 10.5 inches x 30 inches and is structurally sound with no cracks. There is normal wear and tear from about 6 months of use. The nose guard is missing, and the screws are still in the holes. The tail guard is missing , too, and the tail shows a little wear. The Shred Gear rails and one of those ridiculous truck guards are all intact and have some light wear, but no cracks or structural damage. The blue wheels have no markings and are a bit dirty, but are still in very good shape. They feel like they are made out of melted Tupperware bowls. The bearings are those gross old generic types that are deathtrap slow, look funny and are filled with thick grease. Remember when you would fall forward off some kid’s cheap skate because the wheels barely rolled? These are the ones! They are not rusty and work exactly the same as they did 27 years ago…terribly. The trucks are marked VIP9 along with their specifications "380g" and "150mm". They have scratched paint, but have not been grinded down and are not missing any metal mass. The bushings are still in good shape. Since it's a Valterra, it's more for looks than for riding, but it sure looks cool.
THIS PAIR OF EXTREMELY HARD-TO-FIND YAMAHA MS20S MONITOR SPEAKERS ARE AN ABSOLUTELY PERFECT SMALL SPACE SOLUTION FOR THE HOME RECORDING ENTHUSIAST. YAMAHA ACTIVE SERVO TECHNOLOGY GIVES THE SPEAKERS HIGH POWER AND EXTRAORDINARY BASS RESPONSE IN A COMPACT SPEAKER SYSTEM. IDEAL FOR PERSONAL, STUDIO, AND SMALL SOUND REINFORCEMENT APPLICATIONS. EACH POWERED SPEAKER HAS THREE INPUTS: MIC PHONE JACK SOCKET, LINE-IN PHONE JACK SOCKET, AND LINE-LEVEL/RCA INPUT ON THE BACK. SEPERATE TONE, MIC AND MASTER GAIN LEVEL KNOBS ARE ON THE FRONT OF THE UNIT NEXT TO THE PHONE JACK SOCKETS. EACH 2-WAY SPEAKER HAS 20 WATTS OUTPUT POWER, A 4.72 INCH WOOFER AND 1.18 INCH TWEETER. THE OUTER DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATELY 11.25 INCHES X 7.25 INCHES X 5.5 INCHES. THE SPEAKERS ARE USED AND HAVE SOME MINIMAL SCUFFING AND SCRATCHES AROUND THE EDGES, BUT OVERALL ARE VERY CLEAN AND STILL LOOK GREAT. THERE IS ONE ELECTRICAL FLAW: ONE SPEAKER HAS A MALFUNCTIONED MIC PHONE JACK SOCKET THAT DOES NOT PRODUCE SOUND, BUT THE OTHER TWO INPUTS WORK PERFECTLY. I PURCHASED THESE NEW DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND USED THEM FOR SOME TIME IN MY HOME STUDIO. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN USED IN YEARS, BUT WERE JUST CLEANED AND TESTED AND STILL SOUND AWESOME. BY THE WAY, THEY ARE VERY HEAVY FOR THEIR SIZE, WEIGHING ABOUT 9 POUNDS EACH.
We found this Elac Miracord 50H vintage idler drive turntable in excellent condition and complete with acrylic shell and multi-play adaptor.
The Elac Miracord 50H is fully automatic...
Just select the speed, press the heavy chrome button corresponding to the record size and let the Elac Miracord do the rest. The spindle slides right out of the machine and can be replaced with the "old school" continuous play spindle, which drops loaded records down one after the other when the needle reaches the end. It has two different weight adjustments, an anti-skate mechanism and plays all speeds and sizes of vinyl, from 16rpm to 78rpm and 7" 10" and 12". It also has a switch on the front that backlights when activated and controls an AC input on the rear "Miracord" sign that backlights when switched on. It is fitted with a Realistic / Shure RXT-4 cartridge and stylus protector/anti-static dust brush. The turntable sits on spring-loaded rubber shocks in a wood veneer plinth. It has adjustable screw feet for fine-tune balancing. The Elac Miracord 50H was made in West Germany and measures 14 5/8 inches x 18 3/8 inches x 4 1/2 inches. We found this Elac Miracord covered in about 40 years of tobacco smoke and tar, and the mechanism that controlled the tonearm was jammed. After hours of meticulous cleaning, it looked almost as good as new. After we jiggled a couple of hinges and cogs under the unit, it jumped back to life and was in perfect working condition. Seriously, after we got this thing going and realized just how good it sounded (even with an old worn stylus), we wound up holding on to the thing for about six months. No, we weren't even using it...just staring at it sitting there pretty on a side table in our living room! Eventually, we came across a reliable 1970's Technics direct drive turntable, which replaced the "new" Numark we had been using (and were not all that happy with). With our needs taken care of, we then decided to send this one on its way to a new loving home. They are not the easiest thing to find, and apparently they never were. The original tagline of the Elac Miracord 50H print ad read, "The best automatic you can buy is also the hardest to get", and then goes on to talk about the long time and expense that goes into manufacturing the 50H. The ad concludes by stating you would probably need to visit 2 or 3 Hi-Fi stores before you actually found one to buy! How's that for reverse psychology? The 50H sold and now lives in Japan! However, other top quality vintage Elac Miracord turntables are always popping up on eBay, so check below, and scroll to the bottom of the page for more pics of this Elac Miracord 50H!

This vintage 1970s Nishijin Pachinko machine is an all original Model B Super DX.
We found this vintage Nishijin pachinko machine, titled My Life, covered in filth at a VFW yard sale.
We loved the weird gardening theme, and since it had some original pachinko balls inside, we knew we had to rescue it (despite its size and weight!). We dragged it home and began to meticulously clean decades of dust and cigarette tar out of the many cracks and crevices. We thought we would need to replace the ugly wood slats that hold the machine upright, but we learned that these slats are original...added to the imported Japanese machines at the reconditioning factory before being sold to consumers.we then focused on the interior. All the mechanisms on this Nishijin pachinko were jammed up, and there was a cut electrical cord wired to the lighting system. After finding a couple of helpful websites and a couple of great youtube videos, we were able to reset the mechanisms properly. We also learned that these vintage pachinko machines are usually wired to run on one of those big 6 volt flashlight batteries. After a trip to Radio Shack to buy fresh bulbs, fuses and battery, we had all the mechanisms, lights and bells operating smoothly. The restoration was a complete success…the designs were still colorful and the backing board was still bright and clean. The game showed some wear and tear, but overall still in excellent condition. Included were 251 vintage pachinko balls in at least eight different varieties and the original Pachinko Palace cardboard ball box that collects balls at the bottom rear of the machine. We believe this pachinko's title is My Life and it has an unusual design of a gardener with a white beard watering his psychedelic flowers. His bow tie spins, too! The unit measures 32 inches x 20.5 inches. We included a four page instruction manual, a reprint of the original 1975 operating manual from Pachinko Palace. It was sold and shipped to Illinois…an awesome machine ready to play right out of the box! Manual vintage pachinko machines can be very economical if you want to try fixing one up like we did. Even fully restored models are cheap when you consider the hours of entertainment and attractive décor it provides. Nishijin pachinko machines are available on eBay.
