Backlit channel dials for VHF/UHF are located next to the power switch, each lights individually when in use. A band of faux walnut vinyl trim runs up the sides of the yellowish tan plastic encasement. Twin dipole telescoping antennas are located on the rear, along with horizontal and vertical hold settings.

The Bradford 1004H42 is a tube-based unit, and takes a minute or two to warm up if it hasn't been used in a while. However, it delivers a surprisingly clear and consistent picture. Check out the YouTube video below of this TV playing the original 1953 movie trailer for It Came From Outer Space!

This vintage television has only VHF/UHF terminals, so you will need a 75-300ohm matching transformer to connect a coaxial cable.
