Zenith Retro Tape Recorder w/ Weird Joystick Control Button

THIS VINTAGE ZENITH PORTABLE TAPE RECORDER / PLAYER HAS COOL RETRO SPACE AGE STYLE WITH A PURE WHITE UPPER AND DARK BLUE UNDERSIDE. A REALLY NEAT DESIGN FEATURE IS THE "ONE-BUTTON-FOR-EVERYTHING", WHICH IS A CHROME-FINISH TAB THAT WORKS LIKE A GEAR SHIFT. PUSH UP TO PLAY, DOWN TO STOP, PUSH AND HOLD TO THE LEFT TO REWIND AND TO THE RIGHT TO FAST FORWARD. SEPERATE RECORD AND EJECT BUTTONS ARE ON EITHER SIDE. RUNS PERFECTLY ON FOUR "C" BATTERIES. IT'S ALSO CAPABLE OF RUNNING ON AC POWER (IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY TESTED WITH A UNIVERSAL ADAPTOR SET TO 6V WITH NEGATIVE POLARITY MALE END). THE TAPE RECORDER IS USED, BUT VERY CLEAN AND STILL SOUNDS REALLY GOOD. IT MEASURES 10.75 INCHES X 5.25 INCHES X 3 INCHES AND HAS INPUT, OUTPUT (HEADPHONES), REMOTE, AND MIC LINES. THOUGH IT IS A ZENITH, THE TAPE DECK WAS MANUFACTURED IN JAPAN. read more
