The McGregor Scot Sport Shirt was made from the late 1940s into the early 1950's. They were made of gabardine with silk saddle stitching on the sweep collar. Vat-dyed colors stayed bright after many washings. Designed with pleats on the back for comfortability "whether you're driving a car or driving a golf ball". Genuine ocean pearl buttons add to the "look of distinction"!
This early-1950s new-old-stock McGregor Scot Sport Shirt is marked as a 16-16 1/2, with 35 sleeve length, translating generically to mens' size large. It has never been unfolded, original label is intact, pins are clean with no rust.
The color is an interesting and uncommon gray-ish aqua blue green, which McGregor called "Frosty Green".
