Classic Toys

bandai godsigmaPrepare to reach 88 miles-per-hour and blast through your childhood, because you have reached the Atomic Space Junk Retro Toys archive. Feel free to browse through the dozens of totally awesome pieces from our own personal collection featuring photos, reviews, detailed specs, thoughts, ramblings, etc. We love collecting vintage skateboards, bicycles, and roller skates from the 1960s-1980s, weird dolls, retro video games, vintage professional wrestling memorabilia, and classic toys from the 1970s and 1980s like G.I. Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, Micronauts, Popples, etc. Our number one rule of collecting toys? If either one of us can look at a toy and say, "I had that when I was a kid!" or "I wanted that when I was a kid!", then it comes home with us!

Check out our extensive  collection of vintage skateboards, from 1960s sidewalk surfers, to 1970s banana boards, to totally rad 1980s old-school shredders. If you are looking for a classic two-wheeled ride, then check out our vintage bicycles pages. We lean toward old-school BMX and freestyle bikes of the '80s, but we will bring home absolutely anything that looks cool and is well-built. Be sure to check out the Schwinn Stingray and the Schwinn Stingray Fair Lady we rescued from being recycled at the scrap yard, as well as some amazing examples of this classic American bike available for purchase. We love retro roller skates around here, too. They are swell, aren't they? Back to classic toys, which we affectionately categorize as "Toys Your Mom Threw Out". This refers to the countless childhood friends I had, whose massive collections of G.I. Joe, Star Wars, Transformers, etc. were sold without warning by their by their mothers at garage sales, or simply thrown in the garbage (yes, I really know a couple of victims of this heinous act). You can find lots of classic and obscure toys in that section. Are you interested in retro video games? I suppose the question should be...were you born in the '70s or '80s? Then the answer is probably "yes". We collect any format we can get our hands on, from the Atari 2600 to the Nintendo NES to the Sega Genesis, and anything in between. Do you know who Ric Flair is? I can remember countless weekends staying up late watching hours of pro wrestling on the SuperStation, which ranged from big-time WWF productions to local National Guard Armory matches! Check out our small, but unusal vintage Pro Wrestling and sports memorabilia gifts pages. Have you ever played Pachinko? It is a blast. marx sky driver slot car set

Vintage Toy Store

We have a great selection of vintage toys here at Atomic Space Junk. We were all kids once...heck, when it comes to us, some might argue about the "were" part. We are still collecting the toys we didn't get as kids. You didn't always get the exact toy that you wanted, either, did you? To make matters worse, sometimes your friend or neighbor got that toy you wanted! Now time has passed, you no longer eat candy, drink grape soda, or play with toys. What has happened to you!? You need to start having fun again! Now you can look for those old vintage retro toys and reclaim your forgotten childhood, one piece at a time! We have compiled a festive and strange selection of some of the hottest toys for yesteryear, as well as some of the more obscure. You should bounce around our site and see what you think.
